Many of our brides live outside Turkey: in Europe, the Middle East, the US and beyond. Some visit Izmir for one or two fittings, others never travel at all. Here is how we make a made-to-measure gown work across borders.
1. The first conversation
Everything starts with a message. Send us your wedding date, your location and a few inspiration photos on WhatsApp or Instagram. We talk about your style, the venue, the season and what you want to feel on your wedding day. This can happen in person at the atelier or through a video call.
2. Design and fabrics
Based on your wishes, a design is created just for you. We choose fabrics and laces together; if you can't visit, we share detailed photos and videos so you can see texture, colour and movement before deciding.
3. Taking your measurements remotely
If you can't come to Izmir before production starts, we send you a detailed measurement guide. A local tailor or a friend can help you follow it. The guide explains exactly where and how to measure, so the pattern can be cut precisely for your body.
4. Fittings around your travel plans
Fittings are what make a gown fit perfectly. If you can visit, we plan fittings around your travel dates, often concentrating them into a short stay. Many brides combine their visit with a few days on the Aegean coast.
If travel isn't possible, fit checks can be done over video, and the gown is adjusted accordingly. You can also plan a final fitting with a trusted local tailor after delivery.
5. Delivery
When your gown is ready, you can collect it at the atelier or have it delivered to your door. Your dress is carefully packed to arrive in perfect condition.
How far in advance should I start?
For brides abroad, we recommend getting in touch at least 5–6 months before the wedding. This leaves time for design, production, fittings and delivery without stress.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to speak Turkish?
No. We happily communicate in English, and the whole process can be handled in writing on WhatsApp.
Can I bring my own design idea?
Absolutely. Many brides combine elements from different gowns they love: the bodice of one, the skirt of another. A custom gown makes that possible.
Can you also make a second dress for the after-party?
Yes. We design short and elegant after-party and civil ceremony dresses that match the story of your wedding gown.
